Within a short distance of Calasparra you can visit the historical towns of Caravaca de la Cruz, the wine bodegas of Jumilla, Bullas, Cehegin, Mula and more, all of which have interesting weekly markets.

Calasparra is situated in the N.W. of the province of Murcia, just over one hours drive on easy roads from the huge new Murcia shopping centres, the coast or San Javier airport. (A little more from Alicante airport.)
